Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) employees are the Group C central government employees that are hired through special SSC exams. MTS Employees are a very important part of the bureaucracy, especially when it comes to performing the daily operations of different departments. MTS Employees are hired in the CCAS cadre (Central Civil Accounts Service) of Group C and are offered promotions within this group on the basis of seniority.
There are three stages in the Multitasking Staff recruitment which are Tier 1 Computer Based Test(CBT), Tier 2 (Descriptive paper), and Tier 3 which is a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for some selected posts.

SSC MTS Tier-ll Syllabus-
SSC MTS Tier 2 is a descriptive test that will be held in pen and paper mode. Therefore, the SSC MTS syllabus for Tier 2 will include writing an essay or letter and only those candidates will be asked to appear for the Tier 2 exam who will obtain the cut-off marks or above in SSC MTS Tier 1. SSC MTS Tier 2 syllabus does not have any negative marking for wrong attempts.
